1.  How do I get to the new campus? Is there a map available?

2.  Is there public transportation available to the new campus?

Yes. County Connection operates bus line 135, which stops at the new San Ramon Campus. The 135 line travels between the San Ramon Transit Center and the Dublin BART sation. For more information about the 135 schedule, please visit: www.cccta.org/routes/135.htm.

3.  Where are faculty/staff offices and student services located?

All faculty and staff offices are located on the 1st floor of the West Building. Individual and shared offices have already been assigned to full-time faculty. Part-time faculty will have access to a shared work area with computers and phones. The part-time faculty area is located in the same area as the full-time faculty offices. 4.  Do I need a parking permit on the new campus?

No. Students are not required to have a parking permit to park in unmarked spaces throughout the Dougherty Station parking lots. A limited number of carpool parking spaces are available, which do reuire a parking permit. 5.  Is there any food service available on the new campus?

There will be a variety of vending machines available on the new campus. We are still exploring options for providing a limited food service on the new campus. More information will be made available in the near future. Students, staff and faculty need to be aware that there are currently no commercial food services available within walking distance to the new campus and should plan accordingly.

6.  Will there be a bookstore on the new campus?

Yes, the bookstore will be located in the West Building in the Learning Commons area. The bookstore will continue to be managed by the DVC bookstore.

7.  Will there be a library on the new campus?

Yes. Adjacent to the campus (within a couple hundred feet) is the Dougherty Station Library, which is operated by the Contra Costa County Library system. The College has entered into a joint-use agreement with the Dougherty Station Library. Students, staff and faculty will have access to the Dougherty Station Library facilities and services.
