My online office hours are through Gmail Chat or CCC Confer.
To participate in Gmail Chat you must have a Gmail account. Sign up today, it's free.
The Gmail Chat process is as follows:
- Add billsrconline@gmail.com to your Gmail contact list
- On the Contacts Screen select my account and on the right hand side of screen change "Show in Quick Contacts" to Always.
- My account should show up in your "Chat with your friends" window.
- Put the cursor over my name and click on "Invite to Chat"
- Be patient as there might be other students that I am chatting with.
- To resize the chat window, click on the Pop-out button and resize as appropriate.
I am online Monday between 5:00 and 6:00PM.
I am also online on Tuesday and Wednesday between 4:00 and 5:00PM at CCC Confer.
To participate you must have a CCC Confer account. Sign up today, it's free.
The CCC Confer process is as follows:
On your computer:
- Go to www.cccconfer.org
- Under the Meet & Confer logo => Click the Participant Log In button
- Locate your meeting => search for Bill Hammond Office Hour
- Click Go.
- Fill out the form and enter the password: 395457
On your telephone:
- Dial your telephone conference line: (888) 886-3951
- Enter the passcode: 395457
- *6 will mute/unmute your phone
If you want to participate in the CCC Confer Office Hour, send me an email on Tuesday or Wednesday morning so I can set it up.
If none of these work for you, send me an email so we can set up an appointment to meet at SRC.
