To respond critically to the persuasive elements found in some form of communication (i.e. film, speech, print or television ad, etc). You must use terminology learned in the course from lecture, the text, handouts and any outside research to express your ideas and to analyze the persuasion’s success or failure from your standpoint. Merely telling me what the movie is about, for example, is NOT what I’m asking you to do. You must explain why and how the persuasion did or did not work for you using specific class concepts and lecture terms.
Requirements:
1 full page (that means top to bottom), typed, double-spaced. One page will equal 10 points. A maximum of 30 extra credit points are possible. You can write 3 separate, one page papers or analyze one topic in a 3 page paper, if you wish.
You can use one of the film choices that you didn’t write your Reaction Paper on for an extra credit paper.
